Blue Marble — our 5 BHK villa in Udaipur

Blue Marble is a five-bedroom house with its own private pool, ₹30,000 a night, rated 4.4 by guests, five bathrooms for five bedrooms, in the Ananta Élite tier.

It is a whole private house: your group, your pool, your kitchen, your staff, and nobody else anywhere on the property. You book the house, never a room in it. Exact capacity and the full amenity list are on the villa's own page.

How many people can stay?

Ten to fourteen comfortably across five bedrooms, with extra mattresses taking it to around sixteen. Five bathrooms, one per bedroom, which is the normal arrangement at this size.

How it compares with the other Udaipur houses

We hold four villas in Udaipur in total, and it is worth seeing them side by side before you decide — at this end of the city the rate does not follow the room count.

VillaBedroomsRateRating
Blue Marble5₹30,0004.4
Arna Villa6₹30,0004.5
The Tilah4₹42,0004.9
Ikebana6₹72,0004.6

Read the table honestly: Arna Villa gives you one more bedroom at the same rate and a marginally better rating, so for a group of fourteen or more it is the better buy. Blue Marble is the one to take when five rooms is what you want and Arna is unavailable, or when you prefer this house on seeing both. The Tilah is the one to pay up for if the rating is what matters most.

How much does it cost?

Udaipur has the sharpest season of any city we operate in. October to March is the window everyone wants, and November to February is the wedding season, when the city fills and rates climb across every category. April to June is genuinely hot and the cheapest time to book a villa with a pool. The monsoon from July to September is the city at its best-looking, with the lakes full, and still well below winter rates.

Meals are charged separately — see below.

Does it have a private pool?

Yes — its own pool, inside the gate, yours from check-in to check-out. Not shared, no slot to book, no hotel deck. Stay Ananta has never listed a property without a private pool since 2017, across 600 villas in 40 locations.

A private pool matters more in Udaipur than almost anywhere else we list, because the city is hot for a third of the year. From April to June the pool is the reason to take a villa rather than hotel rooms.

Is food included in the booking?

Yes — a meal package is available and works the same way as across the collection. Food is cooked on site by the villa's own chef and kitchen staff, charged separately from the tariff, at a set rate per person per day with a reduced rate for children. Rajasthani, North Indian and continental menus, vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Udaipur is a city with good restaurants, so plenty of groups take breakfast at the house and eat out in the evening. For fourteen guests we would still settle the package at booking. Tell us the headcount, the number of children and any pure-vegetarian requirement.

When is the best time to visit Udaipur?

SeasonMonthsWhat to expect
HighOctober–MarchThe season. Clear, cool days. November to February is wedding season and the city is full
SummerApril–JuneHot, 40°C and above. The cheapest time to book, and the pool earns its keep
MonsoonJuly–SeptemberThe lakes fill and the hills around the city turn green. Good value and the best photographs

One house at this size means no alternative on your dates. Book six to eight weeks ahead for the high season, and three to four months for the wedding months, Diwali, Christmas and New Year.

How do I get to Udaipur?

Maharana Pratap airport at Dabok, about 25 km from the city, has direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Udaipur City is the railway station, with overnight trains from Delhi and Jaipur.

By road: Jaipur is roughly 400 km and six to seven hours, Ahmedabad about 260 km and four to five hours, and Jodhpur around 250 km and four and a half hours. Delhi is a long day's drive at roughly 650 km. Fourteen people arrive in three or four cars, or fly in and need transfers — tell us which and we will arrange it.

What is there to do in Udaipur?

The City Palace complex on Lake Pichola is the set piece, with Jagdish Temple beside it and the Bagore ki Haveli evening performance a short walk away. Saheliyon ki Bari, Fateh Sagar lake and the Monsoon Palace on the ridge above the city fill a second day, and the boat across Pichola to Jag Mandir is the one thing almost everyone does.

Further out: Eklingji and Nagda about 20 km north, Kumbhalgarh fort and the Ranakpur Jain temples around two hours away, and Chittorgarh about two and a half hours east. Two full days in the city and one day out is the pattern most groups settle on.
